A REAL RETREAT
Travelling Latin America 25 years ago we fell for spacious Bolivia and its people. The striking view on the Samaipatan valley -Samaipata means the Height to Rest- with its delightful subtropical climate, made us settle there in an old country retreat of 6 ha.
We called it "La Víspera"= the Eve, thus expressing the festivity of starting a new life.
With the years La Víspera has grown to become a Real Organic Farm Retreat with hundreds of indigenous trees, flower gardens and terraces. In our gardens we grow a grand variety of vegetables, fruits and aromatic herbs; in the HERBOLARIO (click) we process them into medicinal mixtures, herbal teas, seasoning, massage oils, tinctures, jams, nectars & mousses.
Finca La Víspera gives shelter to some 90 bird species, bees and mammals like: deer, fox, porcupine, badger, skunk, iguanas, guinea pig. We have happy dogs to hug and horses to ride.

The total capacity of the guesthouses is 25 and the camping site about 14 tents, each supplied with equipped kitchen, bathrooms, hot showers, barbecue, deck chairs and hammocks.

We offer all day breakfasts, a variety of bread from the traditional clay oven, yoghurt with muesli & fresh fruits, herbal teas, capucchino, soups, specialities like rhubarb- mango- and loquat pancakes, spinach tartlet, grand salads, quinua pie, veggy omelettes & wraps, chocolate cake & the real scones with clotted cream.
